Address Market Problems and Needs Before Developing Products

April 2008 - Scotland is great at inventing leading edge technology, but not so hot at globalising it.  Why?  In most cases, it is because more effort is spent on product development than understanding customer needs, and distribution and sales channels.

If you’re going to take a product to market, you have to address the problem that the market wants solved and how it wants to buy from you, rather than always being in the garage fiddling with your toys," says David Farquhar, 2in10 CEO, in a recent  issue of Scottish Business Insider.

University of Dundee School of Computing Signs Education Agreement with 2in10 Ltd.

Sept. 2007 - The University’s School of Computing has signed an agreement with 2in10 Ltdto incorporate its intellectual property in Product Management and Product Marketing into the School’s existing BSc degree courses in E-Commerce and Applied Computing. This will take the form of an elective module to be taught by 2in10’s directors and specialist associates, and will also involve active Scottish technology entrepreneurs delivering case study projects.

SeeByte Announces Opening of New Headquarters in Edinburgh

February 2007 – Edinburgh, UK - SeeByte Ltd., a technology company that specialises in remote sensing and situational awareness software for the offshore, military and transportation sectors has announced the opening of its new headquarters in Edinburgh.

The offices were officially opened by Crawford Beveridge, Executive Vice President of Sun Microsystems. SeeByte’s staff and honoured guests attended the event from the United States Navy and British Petroleum.
