May 2009 - 2in10 co-founder and CEO David Farquhar has been elected to the board of ScotlandIS, the trade organisation for Scottland's information and communications technologies (ICT) industry.
Farquhar's election to the board will be confirmed at a meeting on May 26th, and his duties will begin on June 10th, when the new board will take over, said Polly Purvis, Executive Director of ScotlandIS.
May 2009 - 2in10 Ltd, the technology commercialization specialist, is pleased to announce that its US partner firm, Milestone Strategies, has appointed Jay Creutz as lead consultant and project manager for Scotland, with direct responsibilities for their growing workload with ambitious Scottish companies.
Nov. 2008 - David Farquhar, CEO of 2in10 Venture Partners, an investment group that funds innovative global companies, will participate this month in Creative Clusters Conference 2008, scheduled to take place in Glasgow November 17-20, 2008.
The conference will focus on the growth of the creative industries in Scotland and the UK, and explore new and emerging roles in economic development and in culture.
2in10's Farquhar will discuss new business and expansion opportunities for companies in the creative industries on November 19th, as well as meet with executives throughout the event who are interested in learning more about 2in10 Venture Partners

April 2008 - Scotland is great at inventing leading edge technology, but not so hot at globalising it. Why? In most cases, it is because more effort is spent on product development than understanding customer needs, and distribution and sales channels.

May 2007 -The Medical School at the University of Dundee is using a Web-based testing system developed by Intelligent Assessment Technologies (IAT) to test the core knowledge of 800 of the university’s medical students.

April 2007 - 2in10 Ltd., a venture management and advisory company, has further expanded its team of technology marketing and management professionals by adding six more associates to its team.
March 2007 - 2in10 has joined forces with the IA Centre, Metis Partners and ScotlandIS, to train software companies in the value of intellectual assets in business development and innovation. The programme will focus on critical business areas such as Product Development, finding New Revenue Streams and New Product Introduction.
February 2007 – Edinburgh, UK - SeeByte Ltd., a technology company that specialises in remote sensing and situational awareness software for the offshore, military and transportation sectors has announced the opening of its new headquarters in Edinburgh.
The offices were officially opened by Crawford Beveridge, Executive Vice President of Sun Microsystems. SeeByte’s staff and honoured guests attended the event from the United States Navy and British Petroleum.
November 2006 - Start-up company SeeByte Ltd. and its SeeTrack product took top honors in the recent Scottish Software Awards 2006, capturing second place in the Best Product category from a field of approximately 30 entrants.
